NaNoWriMo: Day S1xte6n

Another few days, another few thousand words. My crazy writing mood swings have me one moment cursing all of the gods and devils I can think of and doing Top Gun-esque triumphant fist pumps the next. Writing sucks or it is awesome.

Today I wrote a very sad birth scene. Haley, my story’s resident smart-mouthed youngin’ has herself quite a traumatic upbringing. I’d like to say she’s a stronger person for it but that might not count for a hill of beans if the ending I have in mind holds true. Pieces are falling into place, the words are still coming but for how long is anyone’s guess.

Yesterday (Day 15, the halfway point): Goose Egg.

Today: 5,107 words.

Totale Grande: 27,440.

Listening to: Godspeed You! Black Emperor “Yanqui U.X.O.”
